Directions From/Via Boston

Western Suburbs via Rte. 16
Mass Pike (I-90)

Take your choice of:

• Rte. 1A North
• Rte. 16 East
• Rte. 60 East
• Rte. 1 North to Rte. 16 East
• Mass Pike (I-90) East to Rte. 1A North

All of these roads (Rtes. 1A, 16, and 60) converge in a large intersection called Bell's Circle. Rtes. 16 and 60 end at this intersection.

You want to take Rte. 1A North (labeled "VFW Pkwy" on the Google map below) towads Lynn.

Once you're on Rte. 1A and safely through Bell's Circle, here are some distances and landmarks:

Directions From/Via Rte. 128

Northern/Northwestern Suburbs
I-95 North of Boston

If you're coming from the South on Rte. 128/I-95:

• take Exit 63B
• follow the signs to Rte. 129 East / Lynn.

If you're coming from the North on Rte. 128/I-95:

• take Exit 63 onto Rte. 1 South
• then take the first exit (Rte. 129 East / Lynn).
• turn left at the end of the ramp onto Rte. 129 East.

Either of the above will bring you to the rotary at Goodwin's Circle.

Take the exit from the rotary labeled Rte. 129 East / Lynn.

Once you're on Rte. 129 and safely through the rotary, here are some distances and landmarks:

Directions From/Via Salem

Swampscott, Beverly & Danvers

Find your way to Route 1A South and take it through Salem and through Vinin Square, a half-mile strip with shopping centers on both sides of the street.

Unless you're coming to our house between 4pm and 6pm on a weekday, there is no way to get all the way to Nahant by public transit. If you need a ride, please call us before you get on the train or subway, and we will meet you at the appropriate station.

Buses and trains run approximately every half hour during rush hour, and every hour or two at other times. It's a good idea to check schedules before making the trip.

Bus to Nahant

• 439 bus weekday afternoons only from Lynn / Central Square. (Get off at Little Nahant Road.)

Trains/Buses to Lynn / Central Square

Central Square in Lynn is a 5-minute drive from our house.

• Newburyport or Rockport commuter rail train from North Station.
• 441, 442, or 455 bus from Haymarket.
• 448, 449, or 459 bus from Downtown Crossing or Logan Airport Terminal C.
• 455 or 459 bus from Salem Depot.
• 435 or 436 bus from the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers.

Subway or Bus to Wonderland

Wonderland station in Revere is a 15-minute drive from our house.
